Where to find free to use stock footage

Hi! Apologies if I'm posting in the wrong part of the forums but I was wondering where I can find free stock footage that I could use in my videos without worrying about copyright claims. In my video (a top five list video about sports) I used small clips from other people's videos. I don't think it's a good idea to keep doing this for too lon so I was wondering a good website I could search something up and it'll give me a list of free footage I can use in my video without paying paying 15$ for each clip. Strictly said you will need to ask their creators for a copy as YouTube forbids downloading videos. Practically nobody will try to prove you used a downloader. I always make a screenshot of the page that shows the licensing of the third party content I use as proof.

well I've downloaded youtube videos and used them with the permission of the YouTubers and never had a problem.
