When you upload a new vid and the suggested tab gets filled with just your channel vids...

...has anyone figured out if that lasts just a random or fixed amount of time?

Right now on my last uploaded video after about 19 hours I still see just my channel vids in the suggested tab (logged out and fresh new incognito tab everytime I check)

If your videos have a lot of the same tags, keywords, and similar descriptions, then they should be appearing in the suggested columns

Thanks for the answer, but that's not exactly what I was asking. After you upload a new video, all your other videos automatically populate the suggested tab (regardless of the similarity of the content - at least in my case)

I was wondering if there's a fixed time this thing lasts or if it's random time till YT algo figures out the best videos from other channels to be put in the suggested tab

For approximately the first 48 hours, the algorithm looks at the tags, description, titles etc then after that the 48 hours it adds view time into the mix.
