What is the best way to record +20min tutorial Youtube videos

What I do is divide my points in a paper, but what after? Should I record it in one video and then edit the silence with my video editor or record a video for each point and collect them all together at the end
(A bonus question, what video editing software do you recommend as I spend a lot of time video editing and I really hope I can cut it with a better video editor :(

Hey Zeyad, I'm in a similar area - i record in one long take, then cut and edit to fit and suit the content. sometimes i'll shoot then cut up then VO the content, sometimes i record both simultaneously. I use kdenlive to edit and am pretty quick at my style of cut trim and speed up/down. All the best :)

Thank you so much for helping out, I just tried this way and was able to record a 24 min tutorial in much less time.
and Sadly about Kdenlive, It's not supported for Mac, I moved to Filmora. Even tho it's better than Movavi it doesn't have playback preview speed. But I'm still very happy
Thank you once again for helping

Do what is easier, simpler, When changing topics you can insert solid color screen with large letters indicating next topic.
I'm just starting to learn the free Davinci 17, looks impressive, but doing YouTube & work videos using Premiere Pro.

Ahh yes - there isn't a current package for it on mac :( Keep it in mind if you ever have another device to install it on (along with linux of choice ;) )

If you do intermediate slides, you can use this to help with timestamps for chapters also. :)
