What Is a good watch time (average view duration)?

I just looked at the analytic on my new video and the average view duration is 41% and 20% watched the whole thing, that's way lower than its ever been, usually i get about 60%. Is 41% bad? Somehow this video (America's got talent parody) is just exploding, it got over 5k views in under 1 day, and now its getting like 500 views per hour. Whats the average watch on your videos overall? mines 2:57 (56%)

My lets play's range from 20 - 25 minutes

But my funny moments are 3 - 5 mins.

Not to mention your Americas got talent parody IS AWESOME
I'D SAY IT DESERVE THAT 6K VIEWS
 
I would honestly rather watch a 2-4 minute video than a 7-10 that's just me though unless its a popular YouTuber or something I'm interested to know

For gaming its longer but for the average YouTube user like me I tend to watch like 1 minute or skip to the part in the thumbnail of a video and that's what others seem to do aswell
 
If it's a new youtuber that I've never seen before I would probably prefer to only watch like a 5-10 minute video, but only like 10 if it's interesting. But like if it's a youtuber that I like I could watch their videos like all day lol
