What is a good time to get partnered?

When you feel like you take YouTube serious enough for it.
In the beginning, you should have fun and have it as a hobby. You shouldn't even know what partnership is yet. xD
 
To be very honest, it really depends on an individual content creator. Some do it for click bombing protection, some for gaming rights, some for increased channel engagement and sponsorship and so forth. Personally, I have not signed with a network yet, but have been approached by a few, because for me, I will only sign with a network if its a win win for me earning wise. However, that is only from a personal perspective because I don't do gaming,vlogs and so forth. All in all, you will have to determine why you want to join a network and from there work out whether or not it would benefit you. But for the most part, I would stay independent looking at your stats and build up a fan base and viewership. Once you have that, you can revisit this partnership idea again. Always do videos because you simply love making videos that is a must have to have a successful channel.
 
After a Year since mostly till then you will know if you want to keep doing it and also by then might have enough Views to actually earn one or two $ each Day. Ahead of it it`s most of the time useless if you are applying for any Network since you will either have not enough Views to join them or not have enough unique Views to earn a single Dollar because of their cut.
 
I've noticed this question is asked quite a bit, wait til you've got a decent fanbase and you are getting atleast 300 views per day then you can go with a decent network, or if you'd rather go with a bigger network (depending on your content) between 600-2000 views a day.

Just keep doing what you're doing, don't give up and most importantly: Make sure you enjoy what you're uploading!
 
I didn't even bother being partnered til I had 600 subs...... It my fault though because I used to have my eves set on Machinima so much I didn't know any other networks existed.
