What happens if you accidentally click your own ad???

i tried to go to a link of mine through the notifications and i thought it would take me to the video but it started to play. So i went to click on it to pause it and the add came on and it went to it. What will come of this?!

Accidents happen, I'm not sure if they even count clicks coming from your own channel.

Alright haha, but thanks for the tip. I didnt think anything would come of it but was more interested to see what has come of it.

I dont think anything will happen but make sure not to make a habit of it. Usually any invalid clicks will be removed and you can view that in your Adsense payments as they get adjusted accordingly. In this day and age of mobile devices I can imagine accidental clicks going through the roof.

Usually a single click will not do much but if you want to be really on the safe side you can file an invalid click report to adsense: https://support.google.com/adsense/contact/invalid_clicks_contact
