Hey I'm fairly new to youtube & New to this Forum so help me out. I know partnership gives you features like a banner and stuff but does it really help you get more views and subscribers? Why would a network partner with only a few subs when Machinima & other networks only look at you when yu have thousands? Do you make more money than with Adsense? I'm clueless to this Lol

Well some networks partner small channels to basically get money off them, as the channel will not be able to earn the required revenue to be paid, usually $100, so they just get money from their percentage cut. Such as AwesomenessTV (DON'T GO WITH THESE EVER) or RPM (You can go with these, but their not a choice I'd really recommend)

Networks are all different, some offer promotion via their social media or on their network channel. Most offer some form of support against click bombing and copyright issues. As many networks have licenses to cover certain music and video so you can use it in your videos, safely. Some networks such as Fullscreen offer a load of free music you can use commercially which is also a great help. They may also offer campaigns to improve your ad-revenue if you do some product placement kind of things.

They won't directly help you with growing, they give you some of the tools to do so but you still need to put the effort in yourself. Hope that helps a bit, you'll get some great answers here as we have loads of people expert on this :D

They let me monetize games. I needed a partnership otherwise I couldn't monetise games and so I couldn't play for school supplies.

The banner feature doesn't really help either since everyone is going to be on the one channel eventually as well.

Unless you are a gaming channel, I suggest you wait it out till you can actually negotiate a better deal for your channel. Networks basically leech on your earnings and rarely or never do any promotion for your channel even if they claim that they do when they go on a chase to sign you up. With adsense, you are only sharing a cut with google and with a network it is 3 ways, meaning you are sharing your revenue with google, network and yourself. Click bombing happens, but it does not happen so often that everyone who isn't signed up with a network is at risk. royalty free music is all over the place and it isn't that hard to come across if you do proper research.
Signing over to a network is like giving up your virginity to someone you met at a bar on a whim and you were too drunk to contemplate if it was the right thing to do. Do your research and calculations and see if joining a network will actually benefit you on the whole or not. Don't be blinded by the perks they offer, instead judge on what you can gain from them. No hate against networks, but I personally think it is overrated.

We recently got partnered and it gave us a banner (clickable as well swish) this is with the old layout, and also gave access to the forum, no money yet, but i don't really care about money yet, this is with RPM

It varies from network to network but they will usually offer you: An Increased CPM (however they take their cut so this doesn't always = more money), Quicker support than YouTube alone, instant monetization (you won't have to wait for YouTube to review your videos before monetizing), Depending on the network some will offer extra tools such as a Library of Music, Promotion (very rare in most cases), a Hub channel for you to upload too (directorship program), a referrals program (getting paid for referring other partners to their program), Channel Branding (Some networks will offer you custom made branding but this varies on how big a partner you are), Some offer their bigger partners custom made websites etc.

It really greatly depends on which network you go with and how much leverage you have (in terms of views per day) to negotiate yourself a good deal.
