What are other ways to collaborate with other youtubers without meeting in person? I live in the Philippines and it's a very isolated place to collaborate. I know most youtubers are in the US, specifically california. I would like to experience collaborating with other youtubers, to promote myself and promote them back... What are some ideas to collaborate with other people without meeting them in person?

Some gamers often do guest commentary over each others gameplay rather than playing co-op. It would depend on what type of channel you are :)

You can do a podcast maybe?
that could be a good idea... :\\ but I'm sort of a videography channel. that is a really good idea, i'll try that one out. thanks anyway! :))[DOUBLEPOST=1369417941,1369417864][/DOUBLEPOST]

I'm more of a skit, cinematography, camera work guy... and I could probably consider trying to make game commentaries... it could be leggit. thanks dude! :)

Well you could always do a sketch not in person.
You can try to make put a green screen behind you and the person and try to put the same background so it looks like you are at the same place.

What kind of collab? For gaming, you could be in multiplayer together, have both of you record facecams, and then send the facecam footage over skype. And then just put both facecams in the video when you edit it all together

I did that with one of my slendytubby videos.

a lot fo folks do things via the internet also you can skype, google hangout and also oovoo its lots of ways to do it

I toyed with the idea of doing sketches with back and forth conversations on the phone or video calling etc... but the difference in video quality and lighting might not work out. Hopefully whoever you work with has similar equipment so the audio and visual isn't too far off from each other.

That's exactly what I'm planning! but not much youtubers get the concept of what I'm talking about.
