Hello guys I am trying to help many people grow their channels and we can all grow together, I want to start a skype list with a bunch of people from Freedom and other YouTube forums across the web. If you want to grow and reach thousands of subs put your Skype username down below and I will add you or you guys can add me Username: skepticalhobo

How we are going to accomplish this and all grow together. Since YouTube works in mysterious ways we all know that YouTube loves engagement on videos! We are all small and cannot top big YouTubers with our small fanbase, but together we can bring our videos to rank higher on YouTube search and ultimately pack in thousands of views. Everytime one of us uploads a video we will notify each other on Skype also if you guys have anything better than Skype we can use Kik messenger which we can all be inside a group called YouTube and we can notify each other from our cellphones, which I think is a better idea. When we post a new video all of us will then like and comment on the video! If we have 40 people and they all follow the rules thats 40+ engagements just from our community YouTube will then rank that video higher on search. If we have 150+ people in the group that's 150+ engagements on our videos and yet again we will rank higher. So if you guys want to be a part of this and once you join spread the word to other YouTube friends other forums and let's make this happen! Thank you guys I will put a poll on which we should use to connect with each other.

This sounds good theoretically, but in retrospect, the group is going to end up being a spamming of videos to people who really don't care. It may sound harsh, but I've been a part of these groups before and nothing good (or bad) came of it. My views went up a bit, maybe 10% at the most (rarely) but my user interaction stagnated -- and that's what really matters: interacting with your subs.

If you want more views you need to advertise properly without spamming. There are certain ways of going about this and although I can explain it here, I'll end up going on a tangent.

Best of luck

In theory this idea should work, but I guarantee there will be hiccups in your plan. For example, you wouldnt know if the people you are networking with has time to watch all videos. So say he watches it for a few seconds and leaves a generic comment. I am just going to say that will hurt your video, because watch retention time is a key ranking factor, probably even more than the generic comments.

And then because people are doing this just to get their own videos up, this is like a view version of S4S. People will in general watch little of the vid and leave generic comments either because they dont give a damn about your vid or just dont have time to watch the 9000+ people they network with.

So no this does not work. Just sayin'.

Very true - thank you, i did not think of it like that. So this will, generally speaking, help in no way?

Yeah it really would not. Let's be honest, would you care or have time to watch and give useful comments for every single dang person you network with? It is tedious, unnecessary, and just does not help you in the long run. :smug2:
