That may seems ridiculous but it really helps. Just DON'T SPAM. Answer questions you think you actually know about and it'll help them. In return, if you leave your link in the sources box, they will probably check out your channel.

You've probably never heard of this, but it's a Facebook App that allows you to make quizzes to share with everyone in the world for free! It's really good because if you make a really cool quiz and leave your link in the final result for them, chances are they will think your channel is cool too!
Facebook
Posting your channel link to pages where video sharing is accepted can increase a lot of attraction for your videos! Post it on your timeline and on the most popular pages on Facebook!
Twitter
Twitter kinda sucks for this but if you already have a lot of followers, just keep posting links and they'll check it out.
YouTube
This is only for the truly desperate. If you really do believe you channel is going nowhere, post links across YouTube. Again, I REALLY DON'T RECOMMEND THIS, as it will p**s people off if your channel really isn't good.
:)Hope it helped~:)

I don't think the top two are really gonna drive traffic to your channel, and the bottom one is frowned upon by most people. I think the third one is pretty good. When I start producing content, I may find pages that are about the same sorta topic my video is on, and post a video link.

Also, you need to add Reddit dude. That is a really good one, but make sure you follow the rules and don't post video links in subreddits which don't allow it.

The first two are actually pretty good as far as something new, so thanks!

As for the the third, can you name some video sharing groups? I'm unfamiliar with them.

I used to actually use yahoo answers to promote videos occasionally, just not in the same way, but my way probably wasn't as productive as the way stated here in this thread. I would get a couple of views. Really what I would do is just go on yahoo answers and ask people to either review a video or I would ask them "How do I get more views on a video like this? *then link to my video is posted here*"
