Wow...I'm actually happy I finally watched this! I saw you a few weeks ago but was really turned off by your length of your videos...which is probably one of my main critiques, but first off:
Your stuff is like Ray William Johnson stuff, but with smaller videos, not just with fast trending ones. I really enjoyed it. But here's what I'm thinking...
I think the material is much too long. I was kind of getting strained at about the 7 minute mark. You should try to focus on keeping it between 3 and 6 minutes. I think that's a good place for your work to shine. With that said, I don't think you need to show the entire clip...figure out the funniest parts and exploit them. Because as that filler is acceptable in the original video, cuz it was kind of candid, in your video...a show commenting on funny videos...it's just filler. Cut out what's unnecessary and I think you'll be all the better for it.
I really dig the Angel of Death guise...the only thing I'd want to see is him animated...that would make the video all the better...or better yet, if you have a camera (possibly a green screen, so you could still do that awesome background), you could put a mask and hood on and be the angel of death yourself. That would be pretty awesome!
As for the swearing...I do feel like it's excessive. Not because you do it a lot...it just feels, for lack of better explanation...forced. It's unnecessary, if that makes sense. I've always looked at swearing as an artform, if used poorly, it just becomes filler, not even enough to be seen as shock value. No offense, but if you misuse it too much, it can even make you sound unintelligent, and I don't look at the Angel of Death as unintelligent. I guess what I'm trying to say is to be careful of how and where you place your swears...or else they lose their power.
I think that's all I had to say...but that's just my two cents, take with it as you will.
