Urban King

That's fire.

What recording software do you use if you don't mind my asking?

Do you do much up tempo stuff?
Thank you. I use FL Studio for producing used to use Logic Pro before. And yeah i got a bunch of uptempo beats nothing drum n bass or EDM though i mainly produce from hip hop/rap to RnB.

Yeah. I feel you on that. I experiment with trying to do a lot of EDM sounds, but I usually find more enjoyment when I succeed at making something that sounds pleasing rather than "anti-pleasing" D-nB type stuff. I used to really love the dischordant noise/music sounds of Public Enemy type stuff, but it's a lot easier to get into nice funky chill beats or even anthemic loud beats that sound smooth.

With EDM theres a lot of automation and filtering and usually only 2 main chords. With DnB theres not much of instrumentation going on so besides being a fan of the music thats why i choose hip hop and RnB so i can get really melodic also i do this as a business and those are the 2 genres that sell the most. And pretty much i use some of EDM elements in hip hop, nowadays theres no limits to it. Same for DnB you can pretty much make an oldschool hip hop beat with DnB patterns just throw a smooth sample on top and sounds like 90's :D
