Upgraded my Channel.. Is it better or worse?

I've made a 'Rate my Branding' thread a few weeks ago when I first joined the club for One Channel. I've redesigned the banner and avatar once again; please tell me what you think.

So did I improve or did I just mess it all up? I can't decide if I like the glasses on the banner or not.

the one with the glasses is cooler, it adds some more personallity to your branding... but what was wrong with the old banner?

Nothing was wrong; I just thought it was a bit too cartoony and all-over-the-place (if that makes any sense..)

I feel like I prefer having a simple but strong type of banner.
