*Updated, How does my background look?

i just thought i would make a simple background with my name, and some ships from one of my favorite games.
What do you think, and what would you recommend i add, say like some patterns, lines, smoke etc.

p.s. i use GIMP 2.8, not photoshop.

thanks for posting! i always keep making new backgrounds, but this one i will keep for a while, i suppose it's simple and fun, but i`m open to suggestions! :D
 
i`m not currently making them for others, but once i learn a few more tricks and features on GIMP 2.8 i might consider it, but i would recommend you ask for some backgrounds on this forum, there are a lot of people willing to make them for you! :) but once i get better at making i might start making them for others :)
