Under review then monitoring

30 hours ago I uploaded a video that had incompetech's royalty free music on it. So the video stayed under review for those 30'ish hours until this morning when youtube asked me to send in the license info which I did and now the video is "Monitoring for possible review" - WTF???

Monitoring for possible review, possible? That tells me that they may or may not review it.

What kind of good business practice is that? So say I owned a car dealership and my salesperson came to me with a purchase offer, should I reply to the salesman "I may or may not review the offer"

Anyway, Anyone else get this?
How long did it take for them to look at it if ever?

Yes if you don't have a network you're screwed. Sometimes they might take days to review, sometimes it will remain permanently under review. Recommend you work your way up to ~500 subs then look into signing with a network.

I feel your pain kid. I started uploading at the beginning of the summer, had my videos up for about a week before I decided to monetise them 'just in case'. Didn't have any problems to begin with, but from the middle of June onwards, right up to the two videos I uploaded about an hour ago, every single one without fail stays "under review" for about half a day to a day before i get the automated "please prove this is your own content" email. I do movie reviews and essentially it's just me talking to the camera, I don't use background music or anything like that so I don't know why they keep detecting it.

Anyway to answer your question, I too get the "monitoring for possible review" status, and it never ever ever goes away.

You're f***ed mate.
