Hey!

So I don't really understand the 'total upload views' on the home tab on the Fullscreen dashboard. It says 16,009 views but I only have 1581 views on my videos on my channel. What does it mean or is it my channel views or is it a mistake?

Well it's meant to be the total sum of all your video views, but your right you only have around 1500. Something must have bugged out if it says 16K, it should say your current amount :confused:

Girl this is a COMMON thing. The views on the fullscreen dash are always higher than your actual views, someone posted in a thread ages ago explaining why, but I don't remember who it was or what they said.

Mine are about 1000 higher, 14500 higher sounds a bit extreme. They have seriously broken something if it says that :p

I can't read every single thread! :crying: I'm just so new at this! I was just curious about it...

It's because Fullscreen counts all views on videos that have been deleted and all views including those that have been taken off your YT dahsboard view count when they audit the figures. So basically if you have deleted videos then the views they got will be included in your Fullscreen view count, as will any views that YouTube determined came from bots etc.[DOUBLEPOST=1370262486,1370262371][/DOUBLEPOST]

Don't worry, a difference of that much (as a percentage of your total views anyway) is worth asking about! (And it'll be 16k before you know it :))

I haven't deleted any videos though but Jeff just cleared it up! :) Thanks! Let's hope that it's soon! ;) Just kidding, it's about the journey, right? :)
