Tips for getting my channel going?

I'm not really sure what I want to do with my channel. It's very unorganized, as you all can see. I have many videos of my cats. I have videos of me playing games. I guess it will be a hybrid channel of all sorts? I want to start producing original content as well.

I'm not getting very many views or subscribers though. I'm not really sure what to do from here on out. One thing I have trouble with is coming up with tags- I'm not sure how other people do it!

For anyone curious, this is the hardware/software I'm working with:

15.4" MacBook Pro with Retina Display
Happauge HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition
iPhone 5
Final Cut Pro X

I would say try and keep it to one thing, which ever is your favourite one to do?! And then maybe make a 2nd channel for all the other random bits like your cats and stuff. That way people know what kind of videos to expect when they subscribe to you
