Thoughts on Background

So a few days ago, I got the full version of Photoshop and decided that I needed better background than my current (now old) one. So I made this background.
What do you think?

Tips : feather the images more and put a gradient overlayed on top of them,
You can barely see the text, maybe try a silver style?
Put the logo beside the text, not by itself over by the side

I would so as Shane said, the text is way too dark to go on top of the dark background.
