Third Party Content

Hey Guys I got 2 videos on my channel with third party content match but my account says in good standing we also started a sniping team and our promo has matched third party content will this affect partnership later on seeing as when i upload matched third party content my channle is in good standing

Don't use any content you don't have the rights to.

You will have to remove any videos that use copyrighted content when you get partnered. If it says your channel is still in good standing then you'll be ok as long as you don't keep doing it.

It's just a Content ID claim, harmless for now but it's probably the music. Use music that you can get permission for and you shouldn't get those claims any more.

Yep it's harmless like GKart64 said. Pretty much what it means is that the persons who's stuff you're using in the video gives you permission to use it but in exchange they get to put ads on the video and make money off it.

Actually I shouldn't call it completely harmless because at anytime the content creators of the 3rd party match can decide to ban the use of it on YouTube and that will then turn into a copyright strike. They should give you a grace period to take it down if that ever does happen but they don't.

Make sure you are givin permission to use certain content!!! One thing about partner networks is they offer a library of free content such as music you can use in your videos and some people need to really understand.

Yes repeated attempts to upload the same video that has recently got hit by a copyright strike will probably get your account suspended and i think the reason most users get banned because of spamming and system abuse.

Agreed, it sucks but any video that I upload that ends up with 3rd party content I remove right away, its not worth the risk of getting a strike if they decide to ban it.
