The True Formula for Success! The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy - Animated Book Review

I never knew that before. I always knew that consistency is super important, but I never knew about that rapid change that happens towards the later moments of those first steps. The money example was especially helpful.

I'm also not very certain if I can pinpoint the reason for my lack of consistency. Based on a book I read, I figured that I do poorly at keeping up with routines because I'm the creative type, but it might be because I'm expecting better results in shorter periods of time without realizing it. Perhaps that's what leads me to stop my productive cycles and procrastinate until I start the routines again, only to pause my progress once again because of my seemingly lack of large results.

It looks like I should find a way to better mentally accept that way of thinking. Thanks for the video! It has left me with quite a bit to think about. It was pretty motivational in itself.

Glad you found it helpful :) My very channel was created and inspired due to my determination to create a system to permanently solve laziness and change the world. 2 of the main messages I'm trying to promote and teach is how to have endless motivation, and maximize productivity. Well my advice is that you use your creativity to come up with ways to become more productive and consistent. Make things into a game. Give yourself small rewards. Or perhaps spin a wheel that will determine how much time you'll work on something until break time.

This is my daily system in a nutshell, it spells the acronym A-DESIRE

Alarm Clock: Listen to a motivational alarm clock that will remind you of your goals
Daily Affirmations: Listen to affirmations to reinforce mindsets that will help you with your goals
Expand your mind: Read a book, improve a skill or learn something new
Schedule Your plans: Prioritize and schedule your plans for the day
Initiate and take action: Take action and reward yourself after each task you finish
Review your Tasks: Check and make sure you finished everything, if not reschedule it for tomorrow
Evaluate and Evolve: Look back at your day, and ask yourself and try to figure out, how you can become more productive for tomorrow

That's actually pretty cool of you! Endless motivation is also something I could definitely use. It's like I always feel burned out if I try to motivate myself after a long period of staying consistent. It's weird.

As soon as you suggested I try to use my creativity to keep myself consistent, I already came up with a silly, but seemingly fun plan. I'm going to try it out tomorrow and see how it works out for me. I think it should work out nicely, especially with the theme it involves!

Anyway, your channel is something I can definitely get behind. You've earned a well-deserved subscriber!
