The Oculus Rift

I've Got It
Wasn't sure entirely where to put this, sorry if it's in the wrong spot.

So I was browsing their FAQ page and I can't seem to find anywhere if it's ok to use it in YouTube videos. I know that big YouTubers like Markiplier and Pewdiepie use it, but they could be sponsored and then legally allowed to use it or something like that.

My videos with the Oculus Rift wouldn't be monetized. It says on the front page and everything that it is not a consumer product as of right now, and I can't seem to find any info on whether or not I can make YouTube videos with it.

Does anybody know anything about consumer vs developer products?

Have you tried going to the hardware developer's site and asking permission? I really don't think that OR will allow captures through the "eyes of the hardware" before it's offered for public sale without personal request. I may be one of the few here who know what you are talking about; and this is because I have permission for commercial release from someone whose software app has an active OR component, though I'm not using that portion of the software.
