The main flaws of Fullscreen.

The flaws of Fullscreen:
Hello everyone, there are many opinions on Fullscreen, but as someone who's been with them for soon 2 years (and doesn't wish for that contract to be renewed) I want to tell you the flaws, that I feel the network has.

Theese are the things, that has led me to want to sign with a different network.

Under average CPM's:
As expected from such a large network, not enough ads can be sold to give everyone a high CPM. My CPM has averaged about 4,5.

Low splits: I know this isn't the case for everyone, but for most smaller/medium sized channels it is impossible to go over a 70/30 gross split with Fullscreen. The highest they would offer me was an 80/20 and a contract renewal.

Gorilla campaigns:
They require that you make a video, stating an opinion that may not be yours. It is the only way to see Fullscreen CPM's over other networks, and it requires you to sell out.

Payments:
Many networks choose to delay the end-month payment with about a week or two, to make sure everything is in place. But Fullscreen delays it with a full month, meaning that you earn your money from January, at the end of February.

The benefits of Fullscreen:
Now I've talked about all the bad things I have to say, I must praise them on a few things.

A network you can trust:You can trust Fullscreen, meaning that they actually care about their partners. They own all the copyrights to their music library, and their support team doesn't try to decieve you. They will listen to your requests, and they will not pull an ATV and go against their contract with you.

The Dashboard:
Fullscreen has one of the most comprehensive Dashboards out there, and even though it is a few days behind, the information is easily accessible.

Final words:
It's not up to me whether you should sign with Fullscreen or not, personally I'm stuck in this contract untill Jan 1, 2014. However they took me in while I was a nobody, and even though I deserve a better contract now, I would have never gotten here was it not for Yeousch/Fullscreen.

Should you sign with them? that's up to you, but if you're a gamer networks such as Union for Gamers offers a solid contract with 90/10 and a higher CPM. I don't know enough networks to recommend anything, but check this forum out before signing a contract with FS.

A pretty comprehensive list, but I'm already signed with Fullscreen so... Too late to reconsider =P
But I consider myself lucky to get a contract so, that's cool.

Wow, I will be happy with 4,5 CPM..... my average with TGN after all their cuts is around $1.00 :furious: ...... you're right, large networks are not good when selling ads.... I prefer small but selective networks....

This is gross CPM, look up ad performance under analytics.

Based on the messages we've traded, I think that some of the blame lies directly with Yeousch and not directly with Fullscreen. When you were talking about negotiating your contract while still in one, you most likely would have received a better offer if you went directly with Fullscreen-I've never seen your existing split given to a direct Fullscreen partner and I've also never heard of the 3 year term that was offered to you when you tried to renegotiate your contract. In going with Yeousch, you do have a lower split and longer contract-but it's a tradeoff since being with them and uploading to their hub channel probably gives you a much better chance at promotion/exposure than being with Fullscreen Arcade.

I agree entirely, Yeousch is at fault for many of things I found wrong with the network. But from a financial standpoint, a 7-11 CPM is impossible to say no to :D

I wasn't trying to talk you into staying. Just letting others know that it's not entirely Fullscreen's fault since you targeted them in most of your previous posts and not Yeousch. From a financial standpoint, you are correct. $7-11 is decent-we are almost always in that range if not higher (that's net CPM after the 45% is given to adsense). If a network is willing to guarantee that amount and structure a contract to insure that, then you should definitely go with them. Keep your contracts short so you can explore the waters often to keep them honest.

Wait under analytics, what is your gross CPM under ad performance?
