Thank you YTtalk, Forum is Better than My Network

I partnered with RPM network. I was excited to be part of a community to learn from, and help grow my channel. I've had more response here in these forums, than on my own drab forums. Not to bash RPM networks, but I am failing to see the benefit of being partnered. My subscriptions and viewers are still rising at the same pace as before I partnered. My earnings are still about the same, but I now have to split those. I know that the Cpm as apposed to the Cpc (adsense) is supposed to be better, but I haven't really noticed a difference. I could see in the past having special privileges like, special channel banners, and partner promotion. Youtube now offers the One Channel setup, and partner promotions seem to be difficult to come by. I Fear I may have made a grave error by partnering.

I just wanted to say thanks for these forums. If I found them sooner I may not have sought out partnership.

There's no actual difference. You do get access to a library of royalty free music and sound effects, but you still have to work hard to make your channel grow. You'll only get an RPM spotlight or something once you prove yourself, or if they feel you should be promoted for your efforts. :)

It depends on which network you go to and what the networks perks will provide. Being partnered gives you search priority, better ad buys "depending on the network" and hopefully promotion. Good networks will give you access to their main hubs and allow you to upload to it to promote your videos and advertise your channel. Other networks will do paid ad campaigns for your channel and there are a lot of other perks that I won't get into. All in All I think RPM is lacking in the promotion department. Spotlight works but it's not enough in my opinion.

My advice is to fully look into everything about the network before you join them. The last network I was with brought me about a thousand subs just from doing live streams to their channel and promoting my videos on their hubs. However their ad buys weren't great so I didn't make great money.

Very few networks will actually help you to directly get more subs/views by promotion, they give you tools to help you grow your channel but at the end of the day its up to you to gain more exposure & promote yourself. Most networks will also look to put premium adverts on your videos which can increase your revenue but this is obviously dependant on by how much your CPM rises with them and what % they take from your revenue.
