Posting Mad!
Hello People,
Not sure if this forum section fits best for this quesiton but there is no more official sections about money on YTtalk :)

Would you mind to share how much % you must pay tax in your Country from what you earn being as a "self employed"?

For sure it differs from country to country and would be cool to know where is the best place to live and pay tax :)

Well in the UK I think currently you can earn your first £8,000 (ish) tax free, and this time next year it is set to be £10,000 tax free, anything you earn after that amount up to (I believe) £35,000 is taxed 20%, anything you earn more than that is then taxed 40% and for people earning over £150,000 it is 50%.

It Depends on your country,
Here in Ireland you only have to pay tax on annual earnings of more than 6,500€
The standard cut-off rate is 24,000€ and you have to pay tax of 22% up to that amount
And 40% on anything above that

;)

In the UK we pay Income Tax (the same for employed and self employed) and the percentage depends on how much you earn in the financial year.
You can earn up £9,440 a year tax free. From then on...

0 - £32,010 20%
£32,011 - £150,000 40%
Over £150,000 45%

As already stated it depends on your country and income, what to do is go to your country's tax firm or their website, it should tell you there :)[DOUBLEPOST=1366408057,1366408034][/DOUBLEPOST]Also, Dubai is tax-free, just saying ;)

in the US, it's 15.3% this year :(
just had to pay... :'(
but i think that's only if you make at least $400 a year
our site is irs dot gov for more info

While it was good that I did very well last year, the bad is that it bumped me up to the 33% tax bracket.
OMG! A third of my money!
