System of a Down - Toxicity - Guitar Cover with improv

I've Got It
Spent a lot of time working on this cover, unfortunately most of that time spent practicing was ingraining incorrect timing into muscle memory. I think I managed to get a decent take though, I know I could have gotten a perfect take if I'd spent another day on videoing, but 2 days is kind of my threshold before I've had enough.

I experimented with some more editing effects, was kinda time consuming, but it was fun to experiment. I got 2 dislikes pretty early on (one within an hr and another within a few more hrs), they didn't leave a comment to explain, so hoping the analytics will help clue me in as to what they didn't like about my video.

My timing wasn't 100% spot on every time during the chorus sections, and my improv might offend some people's ears. The more I listened to it during editing the more I liked it, so perhaps it takes time to grow on you.

Maybe they didn't like my editing :/ maybe it was boring, how else can I learn if I don't experiment?

If anyone has time to check it out, I'd love to know what you think of the editing and if you've got an ear for music, what do you think of my noise solo/improv section? Any thoughts or advice would be really appreciated!!! :D

Sounds good! Kept it pretty tight, that wouldn't happen to be one of those neat 2015 iron labels with the walnut top would it?
It's an RGIR20E. I was originally planning on getting a cheaper guitar and changing pickups, but the guys I got it from didn't have it in stock so went with this instead and the EMG pickups it came with will do for now, although I was set on particular pickups when I had a different guitar in mind...maybe when I can eventually afford another guitar I'll put them in that and leave this guitar as is. I really wanted a guitar for drop tuning, and I was well overdue for a 2nd guitar :D

It's a great cover!
Seriously, that improvisation is just different, but it fits with the song so..
keep it up!!
TY! I was worried about the reception of it, I knew it sounded and probably looked a bit TOOL like, but I guess that's just what happens when your influences show through. My main regret now is not trying to shoot on another day to try fix up my timing issues during the chorus. Will have to make sure to never mess up again, and that people can still like the cover for it's other merits :D
