hiya if you don't know already, i do gaming videos on You tube and have been looking to add a face cam into my videos, i know how to edit it and everything but i don't know any good strategies on how to synchronize it with my gaming video and my voice.
P.S. i want to use the voice track that i record with my game play not the one i record with my face cam.
Equipment and Software:
-Fraps-to record the game play and the voice
-Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12.0- for editing
-A microphone for the computer
-A Nikon camera for recording the face cam, but i do have a web cam if you recommend using that?
If you have any tips and techniques that you use, i would highly appreciate it if you could share with me =D

Its funny because I use the exact same editing program for my videos. xD So I know how to do it. If you go down to where all the tracks are, and then use your scroll your mouse wheel down, or up, I can't remember. But after you do that it will stretch the tracks out, so you can match the audio wave forms to the tee. So yeah, thats literally the only way to do it, unless you buy camtasia or something.

What I usually do is move the mouse up and down, while saying "down, down, down" every time it reaches the bottom of the screen. That way I can synchronize the voice-track with what's happening on-screen, and once it properly synched I just cut that bit out. I can imagine you could do the same, but bob your head up and down as well to synch the facecam.
