Hey everyone,

Symphonious7 now has his brand new series on YTtalkTV where he will review your videos in his new series "Symph Watches YOU!".

If you would like to have your videos reviewed over on YTtalkTV please leave them here for him to review but make sure to read the terms below first before submitting yours.
  • In submitting your video for a review you agree that the video review can contain clips of your video and that the video may be monetised in the future.
  • The video can not be a "lets play" video, you can however submit gaming videos but Symph will not review or watch you playing games.
  • Your video is something you have made, for example it cannot be a trailer for a computer game.
  • You understand that under no circumstances will the video review be removed from YTtalkTV.
  • You understand these videos are for critique and constructive criticism purposes, if you do not like getting feedback which criticises your work in a constructive manner please do not request one.

I'll be responding to Symph here for the video he made on me :)

First off , thanks bro ! Pretty cool to of you to analyze my work !

1- I AGREE on the french stuff I know, I deeply want to write everything in english myself but.. I'm stuck, I really am. I'm French myself and 87% of my trafic comes from France. Believe me, the second this number drops to around 50/60% I am writing everything in English, but until then, i'm stuck with having to speak the same language than my audience does.

However, I taught this trough : ALL of my videos can be understood without any words, there is never more info in the description, everything is "to the point" and "internationally understandable" in the video format.

2- This is good but why?

I'm someone who analyses himself and his work a lot, and i've come to the same conclusion. I sincerely think i'm doing very good content, but is it something that's going to make your floored in awe at the result? No. It's nice, you're not going to skip it , you're gonna watch it till the end but that's it.

And frankly i'm happy with that for the moment, I made the worst kind of s****y video you could have tough about in my life, i'm glad that now I improved that much. In order to improve to the next step of "awesomeness", I don't have something specific to change, I believe I still have to experiment with different things and work for a couple months/ a year until I "grow up" on my own.

3- Your worth

Dude, frankly , you're hard on yourself, yes your opinion is worth something! Marketing is something I do really well , that's how I get 17k views on my 1k3 subscribed channel.

I had 500 subscribers in June, I just know how to market, that doesn't mean that because you don't have 4 month of intense marketing behind you like I did , your opinion isn't worth anything. Like I said, not so long ago I was at the same level, I can relate and frankly I agree more than maybe you would have tough I would :p

Ok before I even read anything else you wrote I have to address I was JOKING, joking joking joking, JUST to make people laugh, and it was supposed to be funny for the pure biggotry and closed mindedness of how it would be were I serious. There wasn't an IOTA of seriousness in me about it being in french man, if that's the language you're comfortable with, then that's the language you speak. However, putting it in english WOULD be more palatable for youtube, but that was in NO WAY a real criticism. Ok I'm gonna read the rest now.[DOUBLEPOST=1351010363,1351010166][/DOUBLEPOST]

Wow.. if you could pm me some marketing tips it would be much appreciated. And this is cool, cause you really do get how your stuff comes across. I have no negative reaction to the video, and I DID WANT to watch to the end cause the whole time I'm like "where is this going" and at the end I wasn't "disappointed" just kinda like "hmm.. interesting" it's cool that that's all you were going for. Cause in that case? Mission accomplished.

Wow.. if you could pm me some marketing tips it would be much appreciated. And this is cool, cause you really do get how your stuff comes across. To be honest I want it to be better than "hmm interesting" but I don't have the level , yet ;) , to do this kind of stuff. As I said I won't learn to do "wow" level content by learning specific techniques but by not stopping to experiment stuff.

As for marketing tips, I'm planning to release a free PDF including tips and technique that have never been talked about in public forums, some that I even have developed myself (all legal and OK for the YouTube Terms of Service obviously, nothing including bots etc..) However, I want to wait before publishing them, I "only" have 1k3 Subs and I really want to make YouTube my full time job. Maybe when I start getting 1k $ paychecks from Curse (My Youtube partnership network) I will publish it. In the meanwhile I prefer to wait and use them on myself :)

lol I'm kidding, about 99 percent. To get the "wow" reaction. You need a punch line. I don't mean a joke. I mean if that video had gotten to the end, and then something had happened that made me go "OHHHH How clever!" Or "NOOOW I get it!" It's having an "aha" moment at the end, something that surprises us or wraps everything up, and it's not easy to think of effective ones. So just.. keep plugging along, you're talented, objective, and intelligent, you'll keep improving I'm sure of it.

But I just want everyone to know that, I don't gauruntee a vid review for every request. However that angry birds one? Oh yeah, I can review that lol
