Stuck on monitoring for possible review?

I have monetised a video on both of my channels about a week or two ago. I own all rights to it and used royalty free music (creative commons) which I attributed in the description and the monetization request. As of now it still says 'monitoring for possible review' what is happening?

Not easy to say, YouTube has to review each one separately so maybe there is just a big backlog and yours is taking longer. Or maybe they are checking each audio/video source to confirm your rights.

As you have a partner badge, I'm assuming your partnered with a network. Therefore you could contact your partner manager and ask them for some assistance if its gets too long :)

Okay thanks :) And that partner badge is from an old account that I no longer use :/

This happened to me with one video. Took a week or two to sort it out. All you can do is wait for YouTube to send you requests for information by email, then fill them out to the best of your ability with links to content used, or written consent to use them. My video got "caught" by YouTube's copyright filters for the background music. It was public domain, and when I was able to prove that, my video got monetized within a few days. Haven't had that problem since.

I sent the information or proof to monetize a couple weeks ago :/ Anyway, I don'y really mind about not being able to monetise one video. Thanks for the help anyway
