slow monetization?

It's a bug. My last 3 videos that I have uploaded this week went from "under review" to "monitoring for possible review". Key word there is "possible" - that means they may or may not review the video.

I set those 3 vids to private and when the bug is fixed I'll delete those vids and reupload them.
 
Yeah every video I've ever put up went 'under review' for ages and then swapped to 'monitoring for possible review' once I sent a message explaining it's just me talking to the camera giving my opinions on movies I've just seen, and I don't use any music or copyrighted material etc. I've got videos that have been like that since the beginning of June, so I think it's fair to say they won't ever get monetized. I've heard it's really difficult to get reliable monetization without being on a network.
 
Just moving this to the Youtube Monetization and Partnership section of the forum. I have heard a couple of people say that they have been waiting to get their video's monetized, when it shouldn't take that long. Could possibly be a glitch.

Ok, thank you! I was also hoping for a glitch. I don't have any strikes and all my other 100 videos have monetized right away. I've noticed all most everything I've done largely though has been slow.
 
Seems to be a monthly glitch for one reason or another. It happened last year when they were screwing around with cosmic panda and then 3 or 4 times this year after they launched "The One Channel". The glitch/bug/stupidity notoriously last about a week.
 
It should be monetized about 0 - 30 minutes. If it's takes too long, maybe there is a copyright content on your video or it's just a bug....
