I've Got It
A couple of days ago I spoke about Socialblade Partnership that I applied for. Unfortunately I was rejected, It says that i've been using Music/content that I don't own. I don't use any music in my videos, so how does that work?:/[DOUBLEPOST=1374130662,1374130463][/DOUBLEPOST]If I could apply for Machinima then would it matter if I used music because apparently they own all the rights for music?

I have moved this thread to Youtube Video Monetization and Partnership forum. Hopefully someone can help you with the answer :)

The Socialblade/RPM people probably didn't really look at your channel. Don't assume they know what they are talking about.

If you actually did have music, Machinima wouldn't make it authorized or anything. However fair chance they wouldn't notice it and approve you.

One thought is that if you have gameplay stuff and music in the background (part of the game) they could be talking about that.

Create a support ticket at SocialBlade or Email RPM support. The address is on RPM's website to email. It is not SB's fault, because they do not look at the channels. It is RPM who does the reviewing. Also, Machinima is in no way above the law. They do not have some generic right to play any music. They just don't seem to care anymore. Legally, you cannot use music without the permission of the artist. Make sure you do not include cut scenes in your videos from the games. Also, you cannot have any gameplay without commentary. If you ever used creative commons music (even in intros and such) make sure it is credited in the description. Good luck.
