hey so i thought it would be great to help each other out by giving each other shoutouts on our channels:) For instance i will say what your channel is about and tell my viewer to go check you out if you do the same for me^-^

I think this is a great way of promotion and a fair way

I kind of agree with you but if you do it and then the other person do it too, you are just promoting other creators and then if your viewers liked the content they can subscribe or not.

You are promoting not doing a sub4sub

Hm, i didn't mean for this post to come across this way. I should have probably phrased my words better so i apologies, i just wanted to do a bit of cross promotion, i didn't mean this to be anything like sub for sub at all:)
 
It's fine. It's a form of collaboration which could potentially benefit 2 channels depending on how it's done.
 
No worries. I don't consider this the same as sub4sub. Sub4Sub to me is just folks trying to raise a number that will end up meaning nothing. Most times, I'd imagine none of the participants watch each others videos & are just in it for themselves. Agreeing to give each other a shout out is similar to saying "I'll tell my friends/subscribers about your channel if you do the same." And that's fine.

That being said, I'd suggest going the route of actual collaborations when you feel comfortable doing so. Track down some fellow Vloggers you favor and bring up a topic of discussion. Have them record their point of view and you can edit in yours. Heck, I'll even keep you in mind for when I need a "young British girl to 'call' " in a video. Good luck with whatever route you take this. :thumbsup2:
