Whats up Youtube!!! Back again with another after-work video. Tested out the new MotoVlog setup which works PERFECTLY.
Should you start out on a bike which is larger than what is typically referred to as a beginner bike? There are many opinions and schools of thought on this to which I have my own unique viewpoint. As I discuss in this video, it isnt the bike which determines how capable a rider will be, its the rider themselves. If a newer rider has enough self-control, they can likely ride anything that they are put on.
However, that being said; when something goes wrong the consequences could be much higher on a larger bike. It is far too easy to get carried away or make a critical error in operation that turns your tamed circus animal into a foaming, frothing beast which just wants to hurt you the second it gets the chance. Know your machine, but more importantly, know your skill and limits before you even decide to go out for a ride.
