Should I partner?

I've been asked by a couple of low level partnerships like buzz video to be partnered with them.

I still don't understand completely what the point is. I don't care about making any money unless I can make 3000 usd per month. Before that it is just for fun. So is there any point? Will it help me get more views?

I've heard that most of the time, you will only see a small increase in views and subs. You do get a royalty free music library and good networking. Other than getting paid, I don't think there are any huge pros to partnering.
