Yes, I have pants. Do I wear them? No.
Im guessing that means revenue per mounth. But my question is, on adsense it says nine views in the past day .17 rpm. Does that mean 9 views equals 17 cents? Or if I keep getting nine view each day for the month Ill make 17 cents a month. Im hoping the first one...

On regular Adsense, you get $1 for about every 1,000 monetised views.

Take away whatever percentage you lose from being in a network, and you get that. So if they take 60%, you get 40c for every 1,000 views.

Yeah you literally have to be a big-timer to be making a living. OlgaKay (half a mil subs on that channel) only earns about $30,000 a year approx on that channel. Which is like a normal salary really. And she gets loads of views. Check her out to see what I mean.

Yeah, I'm well aware who Olgakay is. :) I wasn't wanting to make a living just yet though. I was hoping that if I keep growing steadily I can end up making minimum wage when I get into collage. So I can have more time to hit the books instead of working at like Micky d's or something like that. :D

RPM is revenue per thousand ad impressions. That is the money you receive based on a thousand ads playing (an ad may not play on every single view). So if you get 17 cents for 1000 ad impressions and you had 9 impressions, you made .00153 cents for those 9 impressions. If you get 9 impressions per day, you'll earn 4.5 cents per month.

Ah, gotcha. Thanks, so you'd probably have to get about ten thousand views per video to make a decent amount of money. Thanks!
 
At your current RPM, 10k monetized views would only get you $1.70. Thankfully as you get more views, your click thru rate will go up and help your RPM, so 10k would probably get you around $10-20.
 
Oh ok, since I get about 100 views a video, does that mean the more videos I upload that get around that many views my rpm WILL go up just a little?
