Royalty free music

If you use royalty free music will YouTube still be a giant dickhole and act like your video has copyrighted music in it and then not let you monetize it?

If you have the rights to it, then you should be fine. Make sure you are getting the artists permission before using it. Most websites give you a website or something to include in your descriptions.

That's what I thought. I just saw someone say somewhere that sometimes YouTube will not let your video be monetized just for having music in it because try are too lazy to realize you have to rights to it.

It's not that they are "too lazy", because it's an automated thing. If it does happen to you, show them that you own the rights to use it.

In YouTube eye's unless you can link to a irrefutable legal document or webpage that explicitly states you can use the content in the way that you have then you don't have the rights to use it.

NOOOOO:pjust be sure to provide the website that allowed the use of the royalty free music and make sure to only use it in your youtube videos:)

If it's royalty free music like incompetech or machinina sound I guess it's alright, haven't had any problems with that kind of music.
