Review on DaVinci Resolve Lite?

Hey! I was recently looking for free, advanced video editing softwares and I stumbled upon DaVinci Resolve Lite! It seemed very similar to Adobe Premier and it seemed to have a lot of amazing features! However, I haven't seen much people talking about this software in this forums yet so I was wondering if there is anyone that uses it and could possibly give me a brief review on it? Does it need a beefy pc to run it? Is there a lot of bugs? Whats the difference in Lite and Normal version? Thank you!

I actually haven't looked much into that software. But if it's anything like Premiere then it's aught to be a good software.
Premiere requires 3+ gigs of ram to run. So it's not really a program that requires much beefyness. But it will be happy if you give it more.

Alright thanks for the info!

Resolve Lite is a huge memory hog. I have 8GB of RAM and when it runs it takes up at least 5.5GB. I've played with it a bit but not enough to know details. I've heard it's kind of half-baked as an editor.
