My channel is monetized but I am basically over Youtube at this point. I am throwing in the towel.

But, my videos are somewhat popular now although my older ones were much better done and more entertaining. I do not put nearly as much time in the new ones because I have been over it for a while.

It dawned on me my older, better videos I could delete and then reupload them. I am guessing most of my current audience has not seen these older videos.

Does Youtube recognize you are doing this and prohibit promotion of the reuploads? Or are there any problems people knoe of with doing this?
 
hi, interesting question, I recently reEdited an old but popular video & it is behaving just like the rest of my recent videos (so so)
you can modify the "end screen" of your newer/more popular videos & this way direct viewers to the older videos of your choice
