Remixes, monetization and partnership

Howdy,

I am working on some intro/outro for my videos and I have this found Tetris remix that I think would be perfect. I am not a partner and I do not monetize any of my videos. I am talking with the person who made the remix about being able to use it on my videos.
So here's my question: If I ever did become a partner with a Network like CreatorX for example would I still be able to use this remix in my videos seeing as it is a remix from a game?

As long as the song he's using is his own work (and that he has permission from the original creator).

Hmm Well I don't know about permission from the original Tetris creator but its definitely his own remix.

Yeah that's why I have to ask lol it's because its game music. I would have done it already if legalities were a bit clearer.
