Reached 100 Subs!

My goal was to get 100 subs by the end of 2018 so I could claim my own url... and it happened. Much appreciation to the YTT community for the tips and encouragement. Nice little Christmas present for the end of the year.

For 2019 I'd like to pass the 1k sub mark. If it happens I will probably keep monetisation off as channel growth is more important for me.
 
Wait, you can get a custom URL if you have over 100 subscribers? I did not know this. I need to investigate lol. Great work on hitting 100 subs man. How did you reach your goal? Did you promote your videos a lot? Do you actively post on social medias and forums like YTTalk?

Also I think its a good idea to keep monetization off. Many people are put off by small channels trying to monetize their videos.

Thank you. Yeah, once you claim it, it's yours for life.

The only one I shared my videos on was reddit and that was when it was allowed. Most subreddits don't allow self promotion or posting YT vids. A few of mine were niche enough where they did it allow it.

Yep, harder than views and comments for sure.
