Rate my thumbnail please :p

This is my 4th thumbnail Its pretty amateurish, so please be honest I really want to know on how I can improve Thanks in advance

Text is nice, but to sharp of a gradient. Don't use pure white and black, try an off white and a dark grey. Also bump up the text size a bit and lower it on the thumbnail. Character is good, though I think moving him slightly to the right would be better. And change the background color to something somewhat bright, the character blends in a bit too much
