Rate my branding... 5 month old gaming channel, 1m views per month [Updated March 26th]

UPDATE:
I updated my banner. Same image/text/colors/etc, but rearranged it so it hopefully works better with:

• Chat with me link
• at different resolutions --- If you have a wide screen, make your window smaller and keep an eye on the "tactics" text

Please let me know what you think about these additions/changes

New layout? Well I liked the old one better, but I figure I'd rather work out the kinks in the new one now.

Looking for feedback on everything and how it fits together especially. Any ideas to modify or improve for the future are always appreciated.

Notes on thumbnails:
I'm going fairly minimalist, as you can probably see. I'm the 2ed largest channel in my niche (50% size of largest) and well ahead of others (about 100% larger than closest smaller channel) so my videos have good saturation which is why I'm inclined to believe I can set a style and be fairly confident people will start recognizing it. You can see an example of this by searching "Clash of Clans" in youtube and I have a solid number of videos on the first page.

That said, what is up with the different colors? Each color matches a playlist.
Red Background = Let's Play
Blue Background = High Level
Gray Background = Strategy
Green Background = Subscriber Base Review video

When I created the new thumbnails, I didn't apply them to all past episodes.

Things to come:
trailer for unsubscribed people
animated intro (eventually)

Your channel branding is good and looks proffesional but i sighted 1 problem.Because of your logo and the guy are the same it creates kinda a double image sorta view on your banner that can be modified but other wise it is a great channel with excellent branding.

Yeah... I'd noticed that before... I have an alternate version that has "Flammy" written across the chest, maybe I'll use that in my banner instead... at least until I can figure out some way to get it further differentiated.

One thing I majorly dislike about the banner is how it is a lot less consistent how the new banner is displayed. Makes it hard to re-arrange stuff and not have it look totally stupid, especially on larger resolution monitors.

Cant do much, i dislike the new youtube channel layout too but since i just restarted my youtube i have to keep it this way although i really liked the last layout.
And btw congrats on the 1 mil mark

I like it, the colour scheme looks great.
I like the illustration of "you?"
The different colour thumbnails for each video is a good idea
Only thing I don`t like is that the main text hits the top of the banner.

Just two small things, the logo doesn't match the colour scheme and the 'Clash of Clans' text is partly covered by the 'Chat with me!' text. Otherwise, very nice

Man i really like your channel, along with shane even i do agree with your idea of custom thumbnails with different colours. And i love the colours, they aren't too sharp and blend along with my eyes. Everything seems nice, simple and use of colours has been brilliantly done.

As for the Chat with Me thing, it is quite annoying, as the Clash of Clans symbol moves based on current browser width (try changing the size) and I don't really have anywhere else to put it... I mean to work something out better some time in the future, but don't really know how I'll end up doing it.

Thanks! *Definitely* did not expect to be here.
I think the way you HAVE to put playlists in the featured area below your channel really, really sucks... meanwhile you only have the options to sort the playlists in a rather limited way.
Also if you put a list of playlists, you have NO control over the order, and it merely puts the most recently created playlist first! (creation date?! that is stupid!)

Nono, I meant the blue background of the logo with the red/yellow of the banner makes it seem out of place.
