Rate my banner?

So I didn't want to ask someone else to make a banner for me so I made one myself. Spent like 20-30 minutes..
It is super simple but i thought it still looked kind of cool.. do you guys think it looks good?

Originally I forgot to remove the black "template lines" but then I removed them and it looked worse so I left them on lol... maybe I should remove those lines...

I like the lines, it looks like part of the design Nice clean look- have you considered maybe even doing a logo in a similar colour to match? Might be nice? Other than that though I think it's great
