rate my banner please constructive criticism is welcomed

I love the channel trailer. Seriously great job with that.

Banner/Profile art? Not as much... It sure looks like a MS Paint creation :/

i used gimp lol what i really need to change is my main pic O_O.....i dont like it.....what do u think?
and any suggestions on getting a legit banner

Using solid colors just shouts "total noob photo editor!"

Adding a texture, or even a basic gradient can really, really help.

My YouTube banner background (and background of my thumbnails) is just a solid color with texture and shadow effects added. Really, really simple.
 
The banner looks alright but it's very plain and really looks unprofessional. Do a little more editing to it And the background colour is too sharp. Sorry but just rectifying some faults for a better banner :)

thanks for checking it out for me im gonna look into some videos on how to make proper banners and what not.....just changed to the new layout yesterday and wanted something up super fast :)
 
I'm sorry to say that it does look a little unprofessional :/ But other than that, I guess that it's okay ;) With a little research, you should be able to make something far better ;) (I know that I'm not too good with banners, backgrounds 'n' stuff myself :p )
