if i monetized my video and it got 200k views but i just linked my adsense account does that mean i will not be payed for the past 200k monetized views?

Nope, payment is never backdated.

adsense won't pay you from dates before, because you weren't monetizing back then so they can't give you money for something that didn't happen

I wish it worked like that. You know what else I wish for? Work forces should pay the Uni/col students for the $$$ they spent to get where they are. They were technically working for the spot ;P <-- that's kind of the mentality
