STUPID QUESTION ALERT
I know this might sound a little stupid, but is there a way to get like partner features (different channel design, etc.) but not monetize videos? This is retarded, but I want the features (not now, my videos suck). The reason I can't monetize is because I'm a minor and my parents need to make an adsense account, and they don't trust youtube and thinks I shouldn't earn money from them.
Should I wait until I'm 18 to make money by myself, or is there a way to get features but not have to monetize?

Yes, networks partner you so they can earn money. That's all they care about.

Yeah, you get the benefits and stuff because they want money. You basically have to monetize. Besides, why wouldn't you take the opportunity to get the money? With parental consent, you are still able to get paid.
