Question about second channel and Content ID match

Hello, I am with Machinima and I have been doing Let's Play video on Far Cry 3. Everything was fine until I came across the last part of the video where I am getting Content ID Match. Its not even Cut scenes, its quick time events.

Anyways, I figure I can just create second channel where I will upload all those clips that has Content ID match, so my viewers can just go watch the clips on my second channel and my main channel will not have any possibility to receive copyright strikes.

Is this OK to do?

I recommend getting in contact with Machinima and figure out why your getting content ID matches because you should be able to get this resolved. But for the time being untill you get this resolved, yes that would be a good idea so you can keep your main account in good standing!

Are you talking over the quick time events? If not, perhaps you should be?
I am definately talking over the game play. I am still getting visual and audio match from Ubi soft which is the correct publisher of the game.
Well, I have no problem operating 2 channels, I am planing to upload all the video with content ID match to second channel from now on.....so I guess it kind of worked out

yes I did contact Machinima, but you know how things are, My channel is not big enough really to get serious support from them at this time. They said I can just leave it up and risk the copyright strikes or delete it.
So instead of beating bush with them, i just went ahead and made second channel.

You should not have to make a second account, tweet to @RicMachinima on Twitter, he`s one of the decent people in machinima... most of the big staff on twitter just ignore smaller channels....

Don't make a second account. If in some way you are violating copyright, and you get a strike on the second channel, then they could suspend/terminate all your channels under your IP/Legal Name. Don't risk it. contact Machinima about it.

To end the thread, I wanted to share what I did.

As Shane suggested, I contacted @RicMachinima on twitter and he is suggesting to just leave it alone. According to him most of those content Id match will just sit there and not become copyright strikes. (since those people claiming copyright is making money running their ads on the vids, they have no reason to change)

I decided to leave two videos that has content ID match on my main channel, since it already had 10k or more views and tons of comments.
But I decided to create second channel and uploaded 3 more videos that had content ID match. I made playlist in my main channel and copy the link to those videso on my second channel.

So it looks like videos belong to my main channel, but in reality people are watching them on second channel.

If I get another video that has Content ID match, I think I will just use above method and keep my main channel safe.

Like Rick from Machinima said, I think most of those claims will not become strikes, but I did not want to higher my risk by keep adding these content ID match videos.

Do you happen to know anyone that has Content ID match that became strikes? If so please share is here.
I would like to hear the situation.

Thanks
