Promoting your videos

Hey everyone,

This is my latest video for YTtalkTV discussing using sites like growsocials, fireviews etc to promote your videos. This is the first video I have ever made holding a camera rather than using a tripod too and feels quite vloggy to me :D


Sadly I have to use my phone and I rendered it slightly wrong, damn settings didnt save correctly and weve sold our video camera recently but still its better than no video at all :D

unfortunatly fireviews its considered to be very unethical because its deceptive. Again I can't tell anyone how to lead their life or how to get ahead in the world on the same note people are put in a bind who are trying to keep their channel and business ethical by supporting businesses who practice unethical business. Do they support it or not. The forums are not the same. Its got tutorials and all kinds of activities. Its up to the individual how they want to create their image though. In the end of the day everyone chooses their own path. Among hardcore marketters fireviews is considered an unethical business practice because its causes manipulation of stats in a closed system to make you rank differently and appear differently to external traffic who knows not what you do to get those stats.

Among those who practice high business ethics no matter how lucrative it must seem you in the end have to decide who you are going to do business with. If the guy who is practicing ethical business is slightly more expensive or takes slightly longer then the unethical guy. The choice would be to support the ethical guy among ethical business owners and pay slightly more and wait slightly longer.

How does this apply to youtube? Some people will box and support anyone who will get them ahead. Others who are trying to be ethical will choose who they want to support. They will also be forced to stop supporting anyone who they find out is practicing unethical business.

thanks michael for talking about the other sites to try and promote or have others watch etc, i noticed your camera swaying a bit, at least we know your a real person he lol
 
Lol yeah sadly I have no tripod and I dont want to buy one for the phone, I should have a new camera eventually I hope but this is what they will be like for now at least or until I make a makeshift tripod for it, I am quite handy with cardboard, sellotape and a tall enough cupboard :D Thanks everyone!
 
just wondered michael if you might know about youtube video's that appear on the front of the site, do they pick them or do you have to
do that making thing to achieve that???

Theyre all partners I know that, I am not sure of the specific criteria to show on there as a logged out guest but all of them are partners so I believe theyre popular recent videos from partners. I could be wrong though :)
