okay so i applied to RPM and i think they accepted me, so they sent me a massege talking about agreement and stuff, but then i saw this at the of the agreement..
"If this is acceptable to you, please sign the agreement (either with a pen or digitally through an online service) and return it to us."i dont know what to do noww.. the accept button isnt linked, and RPM has its new way i could really use some help about this i really need to be a youtube parnter!
 
why you really need to be a yt partner? If you're a musician and plays cover songs you can't monetize it. I think the accept button will work if you type your full name there.

Maker Studios (RPM Parent company) has a contract with Universal Music. For people they partner that do cover songs from the universal catalog (0ver 40k albums), they can monetize those songs and get a cut (small one). A channel must be established as a music channel when they are brought in. Fullscreen and Maker have the same deal so its really beneficial to musicians.

Only if you are a Maker Studios partner they can monetize cover songs. I'm with RPM before but they don't want me to monetize cover songs. RPM allows all cover songs but they can't monetize it. They told me it's for Maker partners only but i don't know about other RPM partners though maybe it's different. I'm with Fullscreen now.

The Universal contract that Maker and Fullscreen got was this year. In the past you could not monetize cover songs. This is very specific too, it must be a Universal artist, like Justin Beiber, Queen, Eminem...etc. Not every musician is under Universal. Just an FYI, RPM is Maker Studios, its the same exact company. Maker Studios owns RPM because that is their YouTube arm.

I left RPM just 2 months ago. I even saved all the emails they sent to me especially about cover songs. Monetizing cover songs is for Maker Studios partners only but i'm not sure about other RPM musicians though, maybe they are lucky. I'm with Fullscreen now they have the FAM library.

RPM is good network i'm not bashing RPM, they're a good network.
 
We have (at N4Gtv) have been trying to get it clarified about the Music thing for over 2 months. Its really specific and no doubt that you were told no. I still do not 100% get it. :/
 
I even told them to let all RPM musicians to have that feature to monetize cover songs in the Universal library just like Fullscreen musicians but they did not respond to me. Also cover songs means you have to remake all the music yourself and don't use the original recordings of the song.
