Hey guys just quickly made a banner for my gaming channel could you guys check it out also, when it displays my banner on the TV view I had to cut out some of the image and have just coloured it black for now, since the file size was initially too large although I had reached the minimum pixel frame, so thats what I did to make the file size smaller (it's now at 1.81MB), what would be the best way to fill in those gaps artistically without taking up too much megabytes?

Well from this banner i get the instant opinion that you do racing game videos, but it appears you do not. The Banner would be good if your channel was orientated around cars :) I hope this helped :)
 
It is o.k but your banner and avatar are for racing games yet none of your videos are of racing games, kind of a disconnect there.
 
It's a new channel I will be doing a variety of games, also the banner is from GTA IV which is my favourite game of all time :)
I will be releasing videos of GTA IV Soon
I like the banner but just want to improve it for the TV view (The desktop view is good enough for now) as I had to cut out some of the picture and colour the blank areas (since I had to keep the actual resolution but lower the megabytes
