I am interesting in what you all thing here...
Patreon vs. Your Own Membership Site?
I've been seriously thinking about this. Patreon is cool and all but it still means you're on rented space and if they up and close, there goes your revenue stream. That can hurt if you depend on it.
Also Patreon gets a cut, a deserving cut as they made their service and should get paid.
But the pros of having your own site means less a chance of it closing unless you flop and you get all the money made.
Are any of you using your own membership site vs. Patreon or something like that? Do you think using your own is better or using a third party one like Patreon?
